Susan believes "music is a vital and integral part of our lives. It serves as an outlet for human expression, creativity and artistry. Every person in our community should have the opportunity to learn music in a safe and nurturing environment. It is my goal to continue to offer this opportunity through the Clavier-Werke School of Music. As a teacher, I believe that technique and theory are essential in the training of a pianist. However, I value above all else the development of individual expression. I encourage my students to use their minds and hearts to create imaginative and beautiful music."
