Nathan Ledgerwood began his musical
studies playing the piano. At the age of nine, he began his study
of the cello. Further musical endeavors included lessons in voice,
conducting and composition while growing up in southern Wisconsin. In 2004, Nathan graduated from a private Christian college with a B.S. in Music. Following graduation, Nathan moved to Austin to continue cello study with Phyllis Young at the University of Texas at Austin and in 2006, graduated with an M.M. in cello performance. Nathan is currently on the string faculties at St. Andrews Episcopal School and the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor Conservatory. When not teaching and playing the cello, Nathan devotes his time to being a fan of the Boston Red Sox and Texas Longhorns. |
